Deposit Procedure for Shipping Server Cases Outside of Germany
Due to repeated delivery issues, transport damage, and costly returns, shipping server cases outside of Germany has become unusually expensive for us. We therefore apply a deposit-based system, which depends on the specific shipping destination and cost. This deposit is intended to cover any potential return shipping costs, which are otherwise very difficult to handle retroactively.
We also kindly request your explicit approval and cooperation in ensuring proper receipt of the shipment. This includes the following steps:
1. Additional Item Required
For each order of a server case, please add 1x item 7766 to your cart. This amount will be fully refunded after successful delivery and 14 days of satisfactory use.
Without this item, orders for server cases outside of Germany cannot be processed.
2. Receipt and Inspection
Please ensure that the shipment is received by an authorized, legally competent person. This person must check the package immediately upon delivery for any transport damage.
If any damage is found, it must be reported to the delivery driver immediately and documented.
Only after this step should you notify us, so we can report the damage to DHL within the required time frame.
A shipment is considered officially accepted if it is received without objection at the time of delivery.
3. Information for the Carrier
Please enter your telephone number in the comment field during checkout. By doing so, you allow us to share this number along with your email address with DHL, who will then forward the information to the local delivery partner.
This step is essential, as deliveries outside of Germany often require local contact by the carrier. If we have to request this information after the shipment is already in transit, the process is usually too slow, and the shipment may be returned to us at your expense.
Without this contact information, we cannot ship server cases outside of Germany.
