Notice Regarding the Shipment of Server Cases Outside of Germany
Due to repeated delivery issues, transport damage, and costly returns, shipping server cases outside of Germany has become unusually expensive for us. We therefore now use a deposit-based system, which varies depending on the destination and shipping costs. This deposit is intended to cover any potential return shipping fees, which are otherwise difficult to process retroactively.
Additionally, we ask for your explicit consent and cooperation in ensuring the shipment is properly received from the delivery service. This includes the following conditions:
1. Additional Item Required:
When ordering a server case, please also add 1x item 7766 to your cart. This amount will be fully refunded after successful delivery and 14 days of satisfactory use.
Without this item, we are unable to process server case orders outside of Germany.
2. Acceptance and Inspection:
Please ensure the delivery is received by an authorized and legally competent person. This person must inspect the package immediately upon receipt for any signs of transport damage.
If any damage is detected, it must be reported to the delivery person immediately and documented. Only after this step should you inform us of the damage, so we can report the issue to DHL within the required timeframe.
A shipment is considered formally accepted if received without objection.
3. Information for the Carrier:
Please enter your phone number in the comments field at checkout. By doing so, you allow us to pass this number along with your email address to DHL, who will share it with the local delivery partner.
This step is essential, as deliveries outside of Germany often require a prior contact attempt by the carrier. Based on our experience, if we have to request this information later, it takes too long and the shipment is often returned to us at your expense.
Without this information, we are unable to ship server cases to destinations outside of Germany.
